I saw a quote by Albert Schweitzer. Said, “Happiness is nothing more than good health and a bad memory.” When I regard those things that interfere with happiness, it seems to boil down to health and memory.
I was waking up sore everyday and decided it was a good time to buy a new mattress. I wanted something that was going to be comfortable and support my back.
I went with the purple mattress. One reason was the claims the purple mattress was making. Their ideas of forgoing most of the common ideas with mattresses with new space age materials.
Because the mattress is made out of a rubber like polymer there is a slight smell that after time airs off.
The first time I laid on the mattress it made me giggle. it was like a thousands little hands holding all of your body. Each part was supported. Every joint held comfortably. There is airflow through the purple material so there is no heating that was an issue on the old memory foam mattress.
I am happen with the mattress so far!
I start off every January with a Cleanse. I don’t subscribe to the “New Year, New Me” or “New Year Resolution” B.S. that many people make for themselves. Instead I strive to start the year on the right foot. The cleanse I do starts with the Standard Process 21-day cleanse. This cleanse program gives you a recommended shopping list, and menu items to eat. The biggest change is only eating non-processed and vegan foods.
It is challenging to develop new habits and lifestyles, but at the end of the 21 days it is very easy. I reach for fruit, veggies, and the like over junk food and chips. Without adding in anything extra, just changing what my body is consuming it recharges and energized the mind and body for the new year. My chronic heart burn goes away, quality of sleep improves, energy levels increase. Most of the body functions like blood sugar, blood pressure, pulse, hydration, skin, all improve. In fact, I have not found one negative of the program. I have lost almost 15 pounds and feel great. I highly recommend every do this cleanse, once to twice a year.
