I decided to take on changing the oil in my 2011 Harley Davidson Road Glide. I had the dealer do a change not too long ago. You can imagine my surprise when what drained out looked like it hadn’t been changed for a while.
This is a lesson for me… don’t always just believe what you are told. From now, I am going to take on my own maintenance from now on!
The truck had a good run, but it was time to move on. Move on or downsize… both are a good idea! I am happy that I can downsize. I think downsizing or minimizing our lives will enrich our lives. Less to worry about, less debt, less stress.
Here are some pictures I was trying to capture the size of this massive truck. It is a 1985 BMY M923A2 5-ton military truck. Let us just say from driving this truck you can look DOWN into some of the semi trucks.
I snapped a few pictures of these cars at our annual Stuff a Plane with Toys for Tots. This activity is sponsored by The Redlands Airport Association. The Redlands Airport Association has partnered with U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots fundraiser that collects new unwrapped toys that then get sent out to needy families. After about a month of collecting, Volunteer pilots stuff all the toys into their planes and fly them to the Marine base. It is a great way to give something back to the community.
