Erika has been wanting to visit the space needle for a while now… This summer was her time. With the Seattle CityPass we were able to visit both day and night. Last time I was here was probably 15 years ago. I ate in the rotating restaurant at the top of the Space Needle. I was looking forward to dinning there again with my daughter. However, they remodeled the Space Needle removing the restaurant and adding a glass floor rotating level. This was really nice and a “cool” thing to do, but not anywhere as nice as sitting for dinner while the city sights spun around outside the window.
We went with the Seattle Washington CityPass. This included few tickets for popular sites around Seattle. Chihuly Garden and Glass was one of those tickets.
Personally I thought the glass works were pretty amazing! They had a bowl for sale for only $7,500.00 USD. Honestly, I didn’t find them THAT amazing. Here are some pictures of the glass.
